This book deserves the 5 stars
I don’t think this is an overhyped book tok rec…it’s appropriately hyped in my opinion.
This documentary-narration style is a vibe! Specially when it’s turned to a multicast narration in the audio. You can feel the different points of view and they do not overwhelm at all, they provide life and character to the story.
This story is rich and full of nuances and shows just how much “growing up” can change a person.
I have to give a shout out to Johnny Weir. His performance was the BEST part of this book!
