This is the second love magic novel I've read and enjoyed. I got the opportunity to ARC read this story and these are my honest opinions. BSAS is a sapphic romance with cozy vibes and fierce FMCs who stand up for what's right and protect those around them even when it puts them in danger's way. This plot was unique and had me pulled in the whole time I was reading. I'd say the pacing is a little slow and there were times I would look at my percentage done and think how much more could happen? But in a good way there was another twist or detail that keeps the reader engaged. The only thing I wish there was more of is descriptions of the setting, I felt like I had a much better understanding of what our characters look like and was filling out the setting with my own ideas. All that said I would definitely recommend BSAS, especially to anyone looking for an end of summer beachy read.
