I didn't really get on with this. While I liked the writing and was interested in the characters, the credibility of the monologue to a stranger format pulled me out of the story a few times. I mainly kept reading because of the powerful ending I'd been promised but unfortunately I wasn't blown away. I can see why people enjoy it but it just wasn't for me.
