Graphic: Death of parent, Abortion, Death, Homophobia, Gun violence, Grief, and Murder
After seeing the content warnings I was confused and wary of the book, thinking it may be very graphic about these items. Without giving away too much, I feel I can add some info about certain spoilers. This book is very grief heavy towards the end, but I found it a beautiful way to explore greif across different ages. The suicide is not a main character nor a parent. Murder and gun violence do happen to one of the major characters so beware of that if that is triggering. Remember that if you or anyone you know needs help (at least in the US) you can dial 988 to reach the crisis helpline.
