I wanted to love this! I did! The cover is gorgeous and I've read another story by this author that I enjoyed. So I tucked right in to this one and was ready for the mystery and suspense. Instead, I realized the plot twist in the first few chapters and was just disappointed as I continued reading and waited for the reveal. It seemed to take ages and the story got weirder and weirder.I kept hoping to be pulled back in and find myself loving the mystery but I just....couldn't.

But I know many others won't spot the plot twist and will love this one so if it sounds good to you, you should give it a try!!
