A Column of Fire by Ken Follett

4.0

I still have the same issues with the graphic nature of Ken Follett's stories -- the gore and sex... although on reflection this may not have been as bad as the other two . . . or I may be getting desensitized to it. (I guess that's also a possibility.) In any case, the story itself is always so good! I liked the other stories because it was a part of English history I wasn't as familiar with, but I liked this one because it was a part of history I *was* familiar with. It was cool to see Elizabeth's reign given life.
