okay so I enjoyed this book more than the first one I could see a more defined plot and a stable storyline, the relationship between the characters was okay and I think the tropes fit into the book's aesthetic really well nevertheless I think the writing was not for me, it felt careless and overlooked in a way like it would just skip over major details of the story as if the writer was supposed to already know that. it was kind of written like a Wattpad novel yk? the big-time jumps and many of them with not much context between the chapters left me wanting a lot more.
