Johannes Cabal and the Blustery Day by Jonathan L. Howard

5.0

A hors d'oeuvre that whets the appetite, and I'm glad this was released on kindle otherwise it would've been impossible to read it. Happily, the reader finds that Cabal hasn't changed at all between this early appearance to the familiar figure of the novels. That is to say, more chances of enjoying his dry-humoured presence in the form of short stories, undiluted by concerns of whether length and time difference would waver anticipation.
