I can’t quite explain it but I can’t stop thinking about this book. I began this book for a school assignment and was ardently against it. Despite all odds and how much I criticised the characters… it’s a story that explains and breaks down what it means to love, to rebel, to finding your why, and the inspiration in the darkest times. The book destroyed me and I was infact told I took more away from it emotionally than Orwell probably intended, but the final conversation between Winston and Julia will haunt me forever!
