tbsims 's review for:
Naked in Death
by J.D. Robb
I've read most of now, jumped around for which books I can find available. Am thankful that publication order/read order isn't completely required.
My kind of protagonist - taking difficultly and overcoming it, or fighting to overcome it.
My only struggle is the level of control that Roarke has - he is frustrated that she doesn't consider the mansion 'her' home but how is it hers. When he wanted to trade out her old desk as a symbol that she is ready to move forward with new, their new life, her new life...I was a little heartbroken. I don't think he'd be okay with HER making changes to the house.
