I loved the concept, the execution however was lesser than my expectations. It’s a fast paced read with short chapters, interesting enough to keep my attention. On the negative side, the writing felt very juvenile, I wasn’t invested in the plot or the characters. The world building was just above surface level. Scarlett and Quinn had some repetitive, cringy lines, their romance developed from “we hate each other and want to fuck” to “we like each other and want to fuck” in a fast time, there wasn’t as much development as I’d like. I really had higher hopes for this book because so many people love it :(
