One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“I know what it’s like to tell yourself a lie so often that it becomes the truth.”

Disclaimer: I’m writing this while watching the tv show. I previously read The Cousins by Karen McManus and was disappointed, but I really enjoyed One of Us is Lying! The characters are quite fleshed out and relatable. They are going through typical teenager things. Honestly, this book is The Breakfast Club meets murder.  If you are clever and pay close attention, then you should be able to figure it out quite quickly. But if you don’t, then you get a great reveal! I’m early in on the show, but I’m kinda disappointed in it already. They don’t do Janae justice and the characters seem much more shallow.

I recommend this for anyone who likes The Breakfast Club and a good murder story.
