Sword of Kings

“There are times when knowledge comes from nothing, from a feeling, from a scent that cannot be smelled, from a fear that has no cause.”
Another solid read by Cornwell. This one, to me felt a little different. It had its highs and lows. A good bit felt repetitive, and seemed a lot was just a filler to get us to the final book. Don’t get me wrong, still exciting just not as amazing as some of the others in the series. I’m ok with it though, he could write a phone book at this point and I’d probably read it. Absolutely love his writing - obviously if I’ve made it this far. I can’t believe it’s almost over. The hangover is already beginning as I open up War Lord, the 13th and final book of this beloved series.
