Afterworlds
by Scott Westerfeld
Scott Westerfeld has long been one of my favorite authors. Loved loved loved the Lizzie chapters. Very eerie in the right way (at one point I stopped reading because I'm terrified of reading horror-ish elements) The addition of Hindu mythology made me more curious about the same, will definitely be looking for more books with similar themes.
Darcy chapters were a nice coming of age story. It was really nice to see connections between the two, showing how much art is affected by life. It also gave a good insight into how hard the work of authors is and into the YA world.
