Ok. First this should be said. “No” is a complete sentence. Most books, especially this one wouldn’t take place if the characters simply take NO as a complete sentence. However and I’m starting to dislike this, but the neediness. The painful need to want to show people, “ you could handle stuff” is a bit of a bore now. In the book she was specifically told NOT TO DO SOMETHING. NOT TO GO SOMEWHERE. By multiple people. I think she was overly selfish. “ xyz wouldn’t have happen if they told me about it” NOOOO HOE. They told you NO. You went diggin and fuk shit up. I liked the family story line. I even would go as far as saying I liked the story I just didn’t like the steps we took to get there. My first V.E. SCHWAB, I’ll give her another try.
