Quick Take: I listened to this one, and really enjoyed. The story flowed perfect, it had plenty of backstory, and the world that Stephanie created was amazing. This book is what I'm calling a darker side of fantasy and Carnival! There's game play, magic, family drama, and some romantic feelings... Oh la la! The ending is left with a twist, so obviously I need to keep reading/listening to this series! Recommend... if you're into anything I listed above. ;-)
