This book is highly recommended on dark romance BookTok, so I had high hopes going on. Sad to say, I was disappointed. It did get better towards the end, but the majority of the book felt like it was written by a 5th grader. Abel was seriously written as a petulant toddler with no self control. Wasn’t a huge fan, glad I read on KU so now I know not to waste money buying a physical copy.
