Five stars. No notes. Rhys and Tabby's story....my god. Tragic, relatable, a punch to the gut and a hug to the heart, and so, so perfect. This book is my favorite of the Rose Hill series and easily in my top three of all of Elsie's books. Her ability to create relatable, authentic characters and weave a story together that is so heartbreakingly beautiful will never cease to amaze me.
- found/chosen family is everything
- banter is on point
- the build-up is good, the spicy goodness is even better; more quality than quantity in this one and l loved every bit of it
- realistic, relatable life events surrounding drug use/overdose, loss & grief, and foster care
- no third-act breakup
- HEA with sweet ending & epilogue
