SEMI-SPOILERS IN REVIEW!!
Im actually so disappointed with this just thinking about it makes me want to cry. Like bergamadden had so much POTENTIAL it actually crazy how good they couldve been but what we had was just… a snoozefest with them basically just fucking for majority of the book and then a bit emotional connection (I NEEDED MORE OF THAT!!) and honestly i needed berga and madden to be more fleshed out as characters like in COTS for example both sila and bay were fleshed out and you knew them as characters OUTSIDE of them being a couple. But in DML (and DMF tbh) I didnt really find them as characters good or really knew them outside of them being a couple and they liked eo and theyre fucking. And also the fake amnesia thing madden had was so weird and unnecessary??😭😭 like what even was the purpose of that. specially the fact that he did all that just for him to basically forgive him easily, for btw a reason that doesnt makes any sense. like why were u even mad in the first place?? he either way had u drugged so i really dont get the third act break up and it was so unnecessary and annoying. Anyways yeah ! This was really disappointing considering that i was anticipating this book the most and i dont think ill be continuing the series after this 😭😭
