No amount of forced enemies to lovers, forced banter or the Harry Potter background could save this book from being the absolute mess that it was.
A book truly for the "Vibes only" "I turn my mind off when reading" readers.
While the connections to the original fanfiction and Happy Potter IP are still very noticeable and present this book was changed enough where it could have been marketed as its own thing and been successful as a romantasy because the bar for romantasy is in hell.
However all that being said, there is no saving this book from being terrible. The world building is lacking and all over the place, the writing and prose are terrible, the dialogue is frustratingly bad. I cannot give a single redeeming or positive note about this book.
