Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett

adventurous funny fast-paced

5.0

When Granny Weatherwax cackles, and a tipsy Nanny Ogg hitches up her skirts and dances on a bar table and Magrat washes her hair and adorns herself with all cutlery with the seriousness of a serious witch - you know you're going to be in for another rib tickling journey in the Discworld adventures!

When I read Equal Rites, I was already a fan of Granny Weatherwax and her mastery in the craft of headology. But now, I even love Nanny Ogg!! I dont know who I'd like to be more as I grow old - the no-nonsense intimidating Granny Weatherwax, or the party person who could almost be called the granny of the entire village :D

A murdered king, his gifted actor of a son and lost heir, a jester who hates his job but has a way with words, and two mad villains - the Duke and the duchess, play the supporting cast in this hilarious yet meaningful sixth story from the Discworld series. I loved it!! :)
