I really loved this book. It was heartbreaking and beautifully healing at the same time. I felt like the story told from the young boys perspective was unique. I loved the principles of faith woven in between the hardships of the story. The author took me to each scene with his descriptions and I felt all the feelings of young Frank and Jake as the story unfolded.
