Give Me a Reason
Redemption Hills, #1
by A.L. Jackson
Narrated by Connor crais and Desiree Ketchum

Redemption Hills. The place to settle down and raise a family. The place to hide. Eden needs a second job. Bills are piling up, her sister has robbed her family blind and she and her father on the verge of bankruptcy. Eden won't let that happen. Taking a job at the local bar will help. Trent Lawson does not think this is the place for Eden. Too good for the clientele and extremely attracted to her, he does his best to keep her safe from a distance. Until he needs to be closer. Finding out she is Gage's teacher, his whole reason for living just makes things more complicated. But these two are meant to be. No matter what is happening, life is pulling them together. Until it's not! Surprises, twists, turns and an ending you won't see coming make this a fantastic listen. Trent in all of his gruffness is a teddy bear. A single dad with a heart of gold, Eden just needs to get through those defenses. Eden has just as much baggage. And Gage, he just steals the show. Fall in love with this couple, the Lawson brothers and the town of Redemption Hills. You are sure to visit again.

Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum are our storytellers and they both tell one heck of story. Trent has a past, but his future is with his family. Somehow Crais finds each of his facets, melds them together and creates Trent with a gruff, loving, danger filled sound. And then turns it all to mush around Gage! Ketchum is fabulous as she delves into who is Eden. Daughter, teacher, waitress, lover, she finds her center and makes her real. And both have an amazing kid voice! This is an emotionally driven story, and these narrators bring it all to your ears!
