Fate Born: Secrets of Sratta
by Michelle L. Robison
I really got hooked into the story of this book and I’m a big fan of both sci-fi and dystopian. I liked the main beats of the plot and got hooked into the telepathic connection thing. I do think that this book maybe tried to do too much which made it fast paced but some of the events weren’t totally flushed out or reasonable. I feel the same with the characters. There were too many, and I ended up not feeling a strong attachment to anyone. I couldn’t tell who was important and who was just going to be in a scene or two. I would have rather there have been fewer character and more development in the relationships between the characters. Give me time to fall for them, and give them time to bond with each other.
