This story is a good example of “I would never tolerate this man’s behaviour in real life but I love it in books” kind of romance.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Alex and Ava - the man is a walking red flag and she just seems to go along with it. But the cherry on top was when Alex decided to sing in front of a huge audience for Ava (seriously, why do authors include such cringe worthy moments?)
But I’m a fan of happily ever afters and soppy romances so this was enjoyable.
