The Pairing by Casey McQuiston
3.0

I'm always happy to read a book that's not "for" me--a cis het boring lady--and appreciated the love story between the characters. I found the sexual fluidity of every single person to be a little unbelievable but again, not my demographic, and it's all very positive and joyful. I mostly loved the food and drink descriptions, Theo and Kit's creativity and skills, and the travel/art throughout. As a traveler, I cannot believe that there would be so many young sexy people on a three-week tour of Europe. Who can take that much time off? And why would you only want to spend a night or two in all these major cities? The book in general is too long, particularly after the narrative switch until the (no pun intended) climax. I would have preferred a longer epilogue, maybe having the next year's tour group revisit the characters.

I liked this more than One Last Stop, but not as much as Red, White, and Royal Blue.
