I haven't really read an autobiography before, so this is a great start. I absolutely cried so much in this. It's incredibly personal and touching. I related to a lot. I'm not going to lie, I read this because Matilda meant so much to me growing up, both the book and the movie. Mara Wilson's portrayal of Matilda was absolutely the best. It's still something I go back to when I am feeling powerless. I can't describe it, but it's fantastic. I also heard the story about what Danny Devito did for her and her mother, an absolutely heartwarming tale, which makes me cry a lot every time. Her loss of her mother hits me in so many ways, but more right now.

I love how honest she was. I hate how she was treated in hollywood with all those weird sex things toward a child. It seems it hasn't changed much these days either. I can only wish it does sooner rather than later. I highly recommend this book. I think it's a great story told in such a beautiful way. From this, you can tell she's a storyteller, so who is better to tell the story of her life?
