overall the book series has been 5⭐️ but this book just didn’t hit the spot all the way through for me
I was so excited for the CC/ACOTAR crossover but I found myself slogging a bit through those chapters, just wanting them to be over so we could go back to the other characters. I can’t pinpoint exactly why this is, it’s not like the chapters weren’t exciting but yeah, the first 1/3 of the book wasn’t fantastic imo hence the drop to 4.5
regardless though I did really enjoy the book! there were plot twists I didn’t see coming and plot twists that were lowkey obvious and there was also the fact that a certain werewolf just couldn’t catch a break which annoyed me because I’m a girl who wants everyone to have a HEA
