This was a cool book, it followed my preferred style of a very typical narrative in this case 'chosen one defeats dark one' (wich is the literal terminology they use lol) but with a big twist- the heroes are adult and already scarred by battle.

I see a lot of similarity between Sloane and tris from divergent. Not just the dark and stories, and sharpness. Its also the resentment of power that is too much to know and weild, and the resentment of responsibility that is unfair and also necessary. Oddly I think my favorite scene was the description of the dive.
Its a sign of good writing that I sort of felt like I was going crazy with Sloane. I wish we had gotten more of albie and maybe, hopefully we will get more in memories.
