Evil Has a Name: The Untold Story of the Golden State Killer Investigation
by Paul Holes, Paul Holes, Peter McDonnell, Jim Clemente
I really enjoyed this one, which isn’t surprising. I loved “Call Me God”, which also featured Jim Clemente as a narrator, and this didn’t disappoint as a follow up.
My only issue with this book was a strange chapter halfway through, narrated by a victims daughter. About 30-45 minutes of the 6.5 hour book is narrated by this woman, and details her backstory and life post her moms murder. It’s a very strange tangent and feels out of place. In fact, it’s such a departure from the rest of the book that it detracts enough to cause me to give this book a 4 star review instead of 5.
