Worthy by Jada Pinkett Smith
4.0

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It's a thought-provoking connection of the dots from Jada's young life to her present day, sprinkled with the language and beliefs she's equipped herself with to find happiness and self-worth in the totally bonkers circus of fame and notoriety that is her everyday. The last few chapters lay it on a bit thick, but there are great accounts of her friendship with Tupac, her experiences as a mom, and her time as a metal singer. Would have loved some more evaluation of her work as an actress, but it's a book that leans hard into the personal anyway.
