My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey

lighthearted fast-paced

3.25

It wasn't something wow (which I suppose is pretty clear with my rating). The story was okay, the mystery wasn't gripping. Though I can let the mystery part slide since it's more about the romance than thriller. But neither did I feel any thrill, nor I could actually connect with any of the MCs.
Myles and Taylor were very different characters, but I couldn't understand the justification for Taylor to be suddenly bold and upfront about things, and Myles being all gooey and soft for her. Yes it's a fact that sudden attraction is true for most of the romance novels out there, but unfortunately I couldn't feel their connection.

Overall a lot of people out there might enjoy this book because of the vacation vibes (which BTW I enjoyed and did want to go run on a beach with stars above), the spice parts, and ofcourse the grumpy guy. For some reason it didn't work out for me.
