Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
4.5
I haven’t had a book hold my breath like this one did since Small Angry Planet or Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. I think I practically held my breath for about 20 pages (probably less but it felt like it)
It’s a beautifully written story about nature, love, loss and abandonment and a murder mystery thrown in
(Update from the future: The rating will stay the same but it loses some personal points due to some drama I’ve heard/read about, I still feel like it was very much a love letter to nature)
