I was genuinely surprised at how much I liked this book. The concept of vampires isn't one that is typically done well, but this was actually really good. Rowan, Celena, Peter and Helen were a pretty good and complex family, and the concept was actually pretty cool. Some parts were a little slow, but I really liked most of this. It was funny and creative, and it was really easy to read and jump into it, and I really liked it.
