The Perfect Wife by Blake Pierce

5.0

YAAAALLLL!!!!!!
THIS BOOK WAS BEYOND GOOD!!!!!
My mouth DROPPED at the end.
The rising action was CRAZY and never slowed down until the very end. Needless to say, I lost lots of sleep over this book and immediately started the second book.

Jessie is in school to join the FBI (not my type of story) but in order to pass her class, she has to interview a serial killer throughout the semester (right up my ally!)

She's been married for 2 years to Kyle and he gets a job offer that he can't deny in the suburbs. They decide its time to move out of the city and start their little family anyways so its the perfect opportunity. There's a "country club" that the whole neighborhood is apart of and Kyle just HAS to join it.

For some reason, Jessie wants to interview just this ONE serial killer, but won't tell anyone the real reason why, and this "country club" her husband is obsessed with feels a little cult-ish to her.
