Pirate Nemesis by Carysa Locke

Did not finish book.

I really don't get this one. Can't, for the life in me, connect with the main character, can't get the info dumps, and the impossible situation it starts out in. There should always be a glimmer of hope as the action starts, else what's the point of rooting for anyone?

I genuinely don't know if everyone else is reading a different book, I find this supremely unlikable.
