Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.

I thought the premise was interesting: I liked the dual timeline and the different POV's, and the writing made me engaged and immersed in the story. However, the writing was also lacking in some ways. The story sometimes felt melodramatic and cringe, and it lacked subtlety.
I stopped reading it a while ago, and I don't really have the motivation to continue.
