I love this graphic novel and the message it sends that princesses don't have to wait to be saved, they have the power to save themselves. Adrienne is a story young woman and I admire her drive to save her sisters from the traditional practice of being saved by a knight who slays the dragon. Belinda is a great sidekick for Adrienne and I think this book should be required reading for all little girls to show them that they are strong and capable to accomplish whatever they want to in life.
