Maybe it was my mood, but I couldn't wait for this book to be over. I am an EJ fan (in fact my very first HR was Duchess in Love and I was hooked) but this book both dragged and skipped around for me. I had a hard time following the conversations sometimes. The relations between Alaric and Willa was not very believable. Why did he fall in love with her so quickly? Why did she finally decide to agree to marry him? Sadly a shallow book. I did love the interactions between Lavinia and Parth. I would like to read their book.
