I liked this book more than the first (Throne of Glass). It had a more in-depth and complicated plot, but it was very confusing to me. Even in the end, when I found out Celaena was really Aelin . I feel like I need to re-read this book to fully understand it (I’m not going to). I did like the twist at the end revealing that Archer was actually behind it all . I also thought that this book was more interesting because there was more magic. It reminded me more of ACOTAR. Overall, it was good, just confusing and I need a bit more clarification when it comes to heavy plots.
