This was a pretty vibes-based book. It didn’t really feel like much happened. What plot there is is quite meandering. I wanted to like the book overall, and I liked the characters, but there just doesn’t seem to be much substance to it, even though I can see the efforts that went into making it have substance. Reading this feels a bit like watching a ‘90s sitcom. From episode to episode, little to nothing would change, but there are big “special episodes” that punctuate throughout.

Moderate: Biphobia, Chronic illness, Confinement, Cursing, Death, Mental illness, Blood, Medical content, Pregnancy, Alcohol, War, Classism
