My Love Mix-Up!, Vol. 3 by Aruko, Wataru Hinekure

There’s not as much plot progression in this volume, but I really liked how it focused on the characters and their emotions. Aoki and Ida weren’t agonizing over the fact they like a boy, but more concerned with knowing what love and crushes feel like. Both of them haven’t had any prior dating experience so they’re both going into what will be their first relationship. I really like the dynamics of all four characters. I especially like that Hashimoto is treated as her own character with her own plot line. Sometimes with MLM manga the girl character is used as a plot device and nothing more, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with this book.
