Der Ursprung allen Zorns by Christian Humberg, Bernd Perplies

Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.
I expected so much more from Humberg and Perplies.

They can write such engaging, uplifting and POSITIVE adventures for kids, why can't they use their skill for adults, too? Instead they write about yet another looming war, terror, hatred,... Really interchangeable both with dozens of other Trek novels and hundreds of non-Trek SciFi.

Really, they are among my favourite authors because their children's books are just what I want adult books to be like in tone and themes. But suddenly they write for adults and... Just lose everything that makes their writing special?

Sorry, I couldn't follow any longer. Another one and a half book only about hatred and terror, with nothing fun and not all that much character interactions and psychological stuff to at least give me a character to fall and love with and keep on for their sake? It just got very very boring as what other people deem action or suspense just doesn't cause any emotions whatsoever in my brain.
