I loved it so much. I might have some objections here and there... but they are all insignificant compared to how much I enjoyed the story overall. The writing is so beautiful - Owens paints both nature and the characters so vividly I am left with the feeling of living the book, not just reading it. Also, I haven't cried this much while reading a novel since Giovanni's Room.
