I do enjoy a good epistolary novel. and one with the conceit of doing so without specific letters is even more intriguing. I wasn't quite anticipating the book being so cerebral, but in retrospect, it had to be... after all when letters go missing, the writer is forced to use alternate words that are likely more pedantic.
