The first half of this book, great, 4 stars I was certain. And then what happened? It just got CHEESY. Like, I know, it's Kristen Ashley. You expect the silly cheesy romance. It was cute at first, when they were getting to know one another and arguing etc. But there comes a point where I can't take it anymore. It becomes unrealistic and cringeworthy, especially the dialogue at times. It also wasn't the best written book, which again I expect and don't mind that with KA and this series, but for some reason, this book just didn't sit well with me. I did like how we got to see Finnie/Frey and Circle/Lahn again, and bringing the 3 couples together. I also liked the hints to the next book, so of course I'll be picking up book four, but I can't say I'm not disappointed, especially after how great Golden Dynasty was.
