casacas 's review for:
David Copperfield
by Charles Dickens
This is a book that I really enjoyed over several hours that I had to spare within some weeks of traveling. Charles Dickens is a great author and shows his great ability to recreate the hard life of the poor people from his time into the mind of the reader. Always being as polite as ever and maintaining the style on which the Great Britain is to be remembered everywhere.
I liked the line of events chosen for the main character and how they reached their climax along the whole story (not only at the end). How the punishment to people that is not congruent to their image (often acting as an angel on the outside, but rotten from the inside) get a lifetime lesson at some point in their lives.
Get comfy and be prepared to enjoy the England of old modern times, along with several characters that you will feel as if they are part of your family by the end of the novel.
