Thirteen Days of Midnight
by Leo Hunt
I actually really enjoyed this! By a local author as well which is great, us Geordies have to stick together. If there's another then I would love to hear about it, if not then come on Mr Hunt! You set it up for another I WANT MORE LUZA! Though to be fair I do think it was a bit of a random and a forced relationship, like it's cute if it was a book about them but come on! Does every book ever have to have a random heterosexual relationship for no reason what-so-ever, it's a book about necromancy for crying out loud! I mean isn't there a chance that you could have a great female lead that just comes in, is badass and then leaves, like why do they need to get together?! If you ignore that (and you often have to because it is SO cliché) then the story was great, well written and good, if not predictable, character development. (I also have problems with a decision made right at the end but that's a personal thing and also spoilers).
