I enjoyed this and found it hard to put down towards the end. While I didn’t find most of the twists shocking, exactly, they made for an interesting read and kept the story moving. I thought the reveals were all well-timed. I think this is a better fit if you’re hoping for a novel about a dark friendship and an unfolding mystery, and less so if you’re hoping for a real thriller or suspense. And like another reviewer mentioned, I did find the last line of the book a little forced/cheesy. I think there were better ways and plenty of opportunities to imply that Emily is an unreliable narrator .
