The Ex Next Door: An utterly charming and funny romance by Jo Platt

I have got to say, I did not see the ending coming.
This book has all of the qualities of a good romcom; the pining ex, the best friend who sets the heroine straight and the charming older chap who gives advice without realising it. These qualities allowed for 'The Ex Next Door' to become a charming read that I couldn't put down - literally!
On another note, the short chapters meant that the book felt as if it took barely any time to read, with each of the 39 sections being a tiny number of pages taking just minutes to read.
